Faith Formation is a lifelong process and does not begin or end in a church program. Our Faith Formation Programs are but a short time in a person’s life, where we try and pass on our faith’s truths and help all grow in their faith and a personal relationship with our God. We do this in conjunction with your family as you are the first and primary teachers of your children and an example of our Roman Catholic faith and Gods love for all. The focus of our program is on the formation of the whole person into a Disciple of Christ rather than just factual information. It is our hope that your child's attendance in class will be supported by weekly attendance at Mass and the celebration of the Eucharist, "the source and summit of our faith"!
Faith Formation classes meet on Wednesday afternoons from 4:15pm-5:30pm in the Parish Center. Please have all registrations in no later than August 1.
Families should fill out a new registration form yearly and if you are new to our program you must fill out a family information form as well. Both of these forms can be found on this website under registration forms or you can pick these forms up at the Parish Office. Please bring a copy of your child's Baptismal Certificate along with the completed registration form.
In the Diocese of Metuchen students are required to prepare for two years for the reception of the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. (Dates for First Reconciliation and First Communion will be given to all parents as they become available.)
Faith Formation/Religious Education classes will begin on
Wednesday September 13, 2017 for grades 1-4
