The Assumption Parish Family Welcomes You!  A little about us...Church of the Assumption located in Hackettstown, NJ was established as a parish in 1864.  There are approximately 1700 families. This parish family exercises stewardship, using our prayer, time, talent, and treasure to show our gratitude to God for all that God has done for us. Our Mission is to be the spiritual source of Catholic Worship and Education that reflects God's Love in our surrounding communities.

Daily Mass is a wonderful way of seeking to grow closer to God and developing one’s spiritual life. Stations of the Cross invite one to deeper reflection on the mystery of Christ’s passion and death. Benediction and its accompanying Holy Hour places one in the very presence of God.

In the words of the 16th century Catholic mystic Teresa of Avila

"God has no hands or feet or voice
Except ours and through these God works."
